What's Wrong with Blogger??


okay; this will be my FINAL attempt to upload the completed pic of the Tigger Cross-stitch, which, for blogging purposes, will be Project 1! I am in the process of trying to finish Project 2: "Great Minds Think Alike", which I will probably give to my friend, Jen. It's a picture of a black girl and a white girl and when I saw the hair color of each one, I immediately thought that it represented me and Jen! So, I had to buy it and cross-stitch it for her!

Anyway; i hope that this picture comes out because I thought the Tigger project came out really nice! My only thing is: what do I do with it? LOL Nothing special to report except that my sister-in-law is visiting for the weekend. My mother's birthday was the 19th and we had plans on having a cookout Friday, which was yesterday. However, because of problems with noise ordinance, my mom decided that it was for the best to NOT have a cookout. Sucks but maybe we can get to the bottom of the complaints once and for all. I feel that we're being targeted by racist neighbors because they make just as much noise as we do, if not louder.

so, yeah; that's all that's been going on around here. in a couple of weeks, I will be travelling back home to Memphis to spend time with my family for a week. it's actually an opportunity for my family to meet my sister-in-law so we're all really excited about this trip. Unfortunately, that leaves my husband without me for a week and I feel bad about that. But, when are we gonna get another chance to visit them?

Like I said earlier, hopefully this time it works. if not, I will have to report it in to Blogger and see what they say about it.

Super Mario Mushroom

I can't remember exactly where I found this pattern and I've gone through all of the patterns I've saved on my computer and crochet bookmarks. I can tell you that it was finished in an hour, maybe two so it was at the time, the easiest hat pattern I had worked. The problem is that back then, I had no idea how slouchy hats worked and stuffed all of my dreads inside of the hat. I complained that there wasn't much slouch and now: duh, Jay- you wore it absolutely the wrong way! To be fair, that makes me not a slouch hat fan and I prefer regular beanies. Anywho.
