Back, Again!


I know that it's been a while since I've blogged but I guess this is the reason why I don't blog! I get so tied up into other things that I simply... don't do others! Family problems take up the majority of my time and so does schoolwork. Midterms were this week and so I had to take a lot of time off to focus on that. Then, there's Mother's Day coming this Sunday, which I found out that I can celebrate: godmothers count, too, you know? So, anyway; those are only two of the reasons why I haven't blogged in a while.

That hasn't stopped me from doing what I intended to have this blog make me do, however! Enclosed is an image of my Tigger cross-stitch project that I have dedicated to finishing in a reasonable time! As you can see, I am very close to finishing it; if not for the tedious chores in store for me today, it would've been safe to say that I could very well finish it today! But, I have a lot on my plate today: first and foremost, my darling Lance needs washing, inside and out... he's my Mercury Mariner, by the way; I also have clothes to wash and that takes me an eternity because I am a procrastinator! THEN, we're going to see Iron Man 2 later this afternoon. Busy plate, I tell ya!

So, that's about it, for right now! I have to get on the ball and make things happen around the house! So, I will probably post a blog after the movies!

Super Mario Mushroom

I can't remember exactly where I found this pattern and I've gone through all of the patterns I've saved on my computer and crochet bookmarks. I can tell you that it was finished in an hour, maybe two so it was at the time, the easiest hat pattern I had worked. The problem is that back then, I had no idea how slouchy hats worked and stuffed all of my dreads inside of the hat. I complained that there wasn't much slouch and now: duh, Jay- you wore it absolutely the wrong way! To be fair, that makes me not a slouch hat fan and I prefer regular beanies. Anywho.
